What can Gift Cards be used for?

This Gift Card is valid for the purchase of accommodation, spa treatments and for use in food & beverage outlets at any of the Centara Hotels & Resorts in Thailand. Please refer to a list of participating properties on Terms of Use.

Can I buy Gift Cards online?
A:
Yes, Centara Hotels & Resorts Gift card is available online at www.centarahotelsresorts.com/giftcard/

Q:
How long does it take for a Gift Card to be delivered?
A:
Gift Cards are delivered via Registered Post to recipient address which is only available within Thailand (Free of Charge).

Note:
  • Delivery in Bangkok and Vicinity within 3 - 5 working days
  • Delivery to all other areas within 5 - 7 working days

Q:
How can I activate my gift card?
A:

If you buy a Gift Card from the front desk or Gift Shop at any Centara Hotels & Resorts, the Gift Card will be activated automatically and ready to use.

For Online purchases, you must receive the Activation Code (4 digits) after your transaction has been completed. To activate your gift card, please contact our Customer Response Team at Tel. 0-2769 1234 ext. 6595 available Monday - Friday (09.00 - 18.00 hrs.). The Gift Card number, date of expiration and the Order Confirmation Code (4 digits) are required to activate your gift card.

Can I purchase Gift Cards On Behalf Of a Company?

What value of gift cards?
A:

Available in three values: 3,000 Baht, 5,000 Baht and 10,000 Baht.

When will a Gift Card expire?
A:

Your Gift Card will expire 1 (one) year from the date of purchase indicated by as the date shown at the back of your gift card.


Q:
Can Tax invoice be issued if I purchase Centara Gift Card?
A:

No, the full Tax invoice cannot be issued for gift card purchasing, but we can issue a receipt for you or under your company’s name.


Q:
Can I add more value to a Gift Card?
A:

No, once a Gift Card has been purchased, the value on it cannot be increased and you will need to purchase a new card for additional value.


Q:
Is there anything I cannot use my Gift Card for?
A:

Yes, Gift Card may not be used for the purchase of accommodation or other applicable services at any overseas of Centara Hotels & Resorts and also other business partners.

How can I book a hotel room by using Centara Gift Card?
A:

In order to reserve your accommodation, please contact our reservation center at 0-2101 1234 ext. 1 or reservations@chr.co.th. We promise that the prices offered will be the best online rates available on our website (subject to room availability, advanced reservation required).

Do I have to be an in-house hotel guest to use Centara Gift Card?
A:

Centara Gift Cards can be used whether the card holder is an in-house guest or not. For hotel outlets and Spa, please identify with our staff that you want to settle the payment by Centara Gift Card.

Does the Centara Gift Card need to be presented at the hotel?
A:

Yes, once the reservations has been made, the original gift card must be required to present at the hotel upon arrival or check-in.

Can I return or refund a Gift Card??
A:

Gift Cards cannot be returned or refunded after purchased.

How do I check my Gift Card balance?
A:

You can check your Gift Card balance online by yourself or calling our Customer Response Team to assist you.

Check Balance Online - available daily 24 hrs.

  • You will need to sign in using your Gift Card number and date of expiration on the back of your card (DD/MM/YYYY)

You can check your Gift Card Transaction History online at www.centarahotelsresorts.com/giftcard/. If you have any questions about gift card transaction, please contact our Customer Response Team at Tel. 0-2769 1234 ext. 6595 or 6667 available Monday - Friday (except Public Holidays) during 09.00 - 18.00 hrs.

What should I do if my Gift Card is damaged/lost or stolen?
A:

If your card is lost or stolen, unfortunately we are unable to replace or refund it. Please treat your Gift Card like cash as you are responsible for the safe keeping of it at all times.
