PEANUT BUTTER CREAM CHEESE TART

Learn from the best as Chef Nok from Top Chef Thailand teaches how to make this delicious Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Tart that’s big enough for the whole family to enjoy!

Ingredients (Serves 8 people)

Crust:

  1. 250g Chocolate Cookies
  2. 75g Butter

Filling:

  1. 225g Cream Cheese
  2. 180g Creamy Peanut Butter
  3. 225g Whipping Cream
  4. 75g Icing Sugar
  5. 5g Vanilla Extract

Ganach:

  1. 200g Dark Chocolate
  2. 200g Whipping Cream

Method

Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 180c.
  2. Butter a 9-inch-diameter tart pan with removable bottom.
  3. Mix cookie crumbs and butter in medium bowl until moist clumps form.
  4. Press mixture ontothe bottom and top sides of the prepared tart pan.
  5. Bake until it sets, about 10 minutes. Cool completely.

Filling:

  1. Using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter in a large bowl until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Using an electric mixer, whip the cream, icing sugar, and vanilla to soft peaks.
  3. Gradually fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese and peanut butter mixture.
  4. Pour over crust and freeze until firm.

Ganach:

  1. Boil Whipping cream before pouring over dark chocolate.
  2. Mix to combine
  3. Pour over the Peanut Butter Tart to decorate
