Tham Mae Usu
Reached within half an hour from the resort by road, Tham Mae Usu, Thailand’s longest cave, flanks the border of Thailand and Myanmar. Set within the Mae Moei National Park and home to stunning stalactites and stalagmites, the cave has a gigantic hollow rock to the west where scenic views can be enjoyed. The most stunning scene can be found deep inside the cave where an opening in the roof lets in streams of golden light. The cave cannot be accessed during the raining season because of the high level of water in the creek that lies before the entrance to the cave.
