Kid-friendly and Fun Activities to do in Pattaya

Posted on 21 Apr 21

As one of the most famous tourist attractions for both Thais and foreigners for more than three decades, Pattaya is not only well-known for its beaches, water sports, and electric nightlife - it's also one of the top places in the country for kid-friendly attractions. In short, Pattaya is the perfect destination for the whole family.

1. Ramayana Water Park

Ramayana Water Park is one of the biggest water parks in Thailand. Located in Sattahip, 15 kilometres from the heart of Pattaya, this place is an absolute delight for a family to spend the whole day. The gigantic water park presents 21 unique slides loaded with fun, ready to give you that adrenaline rush you've been craving.

However, don't worry! Your smaller children can still enjoy themselves on the more gentle attractions like Spray, which is specifically designed to suit younger children. Lazy River is also highly recommended for the whole family - it will float you through the winding waterways allowing you to relish the beautiful water park landscape.

2. Space Inspirium

Space Inspirium is a modern science museum showcasing space technology and the virtual science of the universe. Situated in Laem Chabang district, 25 kilometres from Pattaya city, this modern museum is definitely mind-blowing, and as its name suggests, is designed to inspire the younger generation. Space Inspirium is well-designed and segmented into 11 educational zones such as Universe, Life Begins, Space, GITSDA House and more.

Your children will have a ball, and be thrilled as they take part in hands-on science experiment sessions which allow little learners to experience and explore exciting scientific discoveries. The museum opens daily except for Mondays. Visit the website www.spaceinspirium.gistda.or.th to check out more on upcoming interesting and inspiring events.

3. Pipo Pony Club Pattaya

Pipo Pony Club is the first and only miniature horse farm in Thailand. The farm boasts a picturesque fairytale setting and offers a wide range of activities that will keep your kids entertained. You don't need to fly to Scotland to appreciate these beloved Shetland ponies. Your children can be fully involved in feeding the ponies, and best of all, these wonderful creatures love to be patted and stroked. Pipo Pony Club also provides an up-close opportunity for the little ones to ride a pony, while for more serious riders you can enquire about equestrian lessons offered from the age of 2 up to the age of 10.

4. Legend Siam

Fancy something fun and historical? Legend Siam, the first culturally themed park in Thailand, is designed to present the diverse array of cultures that are found within the country's borders. Visitors can learn about and experience first-hand the various cultures, different lifestyles, and local wisdom from different periods and places throughout Thai history.

The three main attraction zones comprise Siam Vilize, Thai Araya and Phum Pandin. The Siam Vilize zone displays magnificent Thai architecture and Thai machines that illustrate Thai lifestyles and beliefs. Your little ones can enjoy various temple fair games such as darts and shooting, and you can also go shopping at their spectacular floating market located in the Thai Araya zone. The last zone, Phum Pandin, showcases historical Thai heroes including the story of Bang Rachan, and also has a rice plantation demonstration. This theme park is a new-found gem of Pattaya.

5. Harbor Mall Pattaya

If your children prefer to be indoors, Harbor Mall is one of the best places to be. The Mall has been built under the theme of "Family Paradise". As the largest indoor playground in Asia, Harbor Land offers 12 zones of entertainment. For thrill-loving kids, it's time to practise flipping in the air at JUMP XL Trampoline Park, or to test their strength by climbing the 10-metre high wall at DEEP Climbing Gym. For younger children, they can learn to balance and gain more confidence by doing the Rope Course or enjoying surfing on a boogie board at Harbor Racing, where parents are most welcome to join in too.
