Great stay in Ayutthaya
We stayed at Centara Ayutthaya in late March. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The location is at the heart of the city so it is within a fairly good distant to many nice attractions. The outdoor space is perfectly maintained. We booked a Suite King. The room is very spacious and clean. We requested an extra bed but their extra bed is actually a set up of window bench which I found it was fairly uncommon. I wish they could add an actual extra bed next to a king. That is our only complaint for our room arrangement. The breakfast buffet was our favourite. There are a good selection of food. Chicken noodle (a Michelin certified) is a must. Overall I really satisfied with my 5 nights stay with Centara Ayutthaya Hotel. Staffs are very friendly and polite. Good environment with Centara mall next door, many food stalls and got live band somemore. Lovely new hotel
This is a lovely new hotel next door to an impressive new shopping centre. Our king suite was spacious , the bed large and comfortable , air conditioning was very quiet and efficient. The fridge was actually cold - unlike many that we have had in other hotels in Thailand. The safe was easy to use. Staff were friendly and polite. The roof bar and swimming pool are great features at this hotel with views over Ayuttaya . Due to the number of dining options in the new shopping centre next door, we didn’t dine In the Centara but the breakfast was fine. Understandably, most of the hotel guests are Asian and therefore the breakfast options are mainly catering for them. This is pretty much the case throughout the many Thai hotels we have stayed in over the past 10 years so it is not a criticism - just a statement of fact. Having said that, they do provide fruit juice, eggs, chipolata type sausages, baked beans, cereals and toast which is fine for most people.
