    Pleasant Beachfront hotel in Trat
This is a very relaxing place to stay on the beach in Trat. Quite a secluded place but hotel has a nice restaurant and several others within 10-15 mins. Staff all very professional and friendly. Rooms very big - family suite has living area, bedroom and bathroom -and large veranda. Also has kettle with tea and coffee every day (not listed in description). Sea is typically quite rough here - strong waves. Lots of shells on the beach (fun to find). Very comfortable bed.

Not only for dog lovers, but must like dogs...
This smaller resort is ideal for couples and families who are looking for a quite vacation. Beach is beautiful, full of schools of small fishes and crabs. Water is clean and the sunsets over Koh Chang are breathtakingly. This is the only CENTARA resort (to my knowledge) what is dog friendly, not only for small dogs, a great opportunity to bring along your furry family members.

Charming Resort Right on the beach where the beach meets the jungle
An old resort but in this case old = good. The hotel is charming, simple, quiet and serene. No frills, just peace and quiet and absolutely no stress in the environment. Did not want to leave. Big bungalows with big porches surrounded by jungle plants but steps from the beach. The beach is great, very private, no motor vehicles, water clean and swimmable with proper depth of water and no strong currents. A great seafood buffet at night and the food was otherwise excellent. A real hideaway!

Very nice, cozy and quiet resort with a jungle-like environment. Having good leisure times.
The resort is located about 360 km away from Bangkok; staying there is a good base for exploring the fishing villages, enjoying seafood, Cambodia-like temples, border market. Despite of la bit far away from Bangkok, there are plentiful attractions on the way driving down there.

Good Place for Escaping Away from Town
Nice place to relax on the beach throughout the day. Jogging around under the trees in the morning. Enjoy sunset with your drink on the beach until having dinner. (menu needs to be reconsidered. or cook and serve faster) Rooms are spacious with one living room and a cozy bedroom. Love to come with my family. I came here twice this year. Overall quite impressive.

    Amazing Getaway
The resort is remotely situated, but self-contained making it a perfect beach getaway. Despite it's far location (about 5-6 hours drive from Bangkok) the pristine beach makes it worth the trip. Food was decent, there is a full bar, and rooms were comfortable and clean. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive staff.

Very nice place, where I could bring my pets. Direct access to its own private beach. Breakfast buffet was great and also all other food in the restaurant. We did not leave the resort at all everything we needed was available at the resort. Happy hour between 15:00-18:00 and 20:00-21:00. Will come back for sure.

Best dog friendly hotel in Thailand
Centara Chan Talay Resort in Trat is the nicest dog friendly hotel in Thailand. Very friendly staff, great food, kilometers of deserted beaches to explore. Perfect spot for rest and relaxation. 2 room Bungalows available right on the beach so easy to go with a family of 4 by asking for 2 extra beds. Good value for money. Definitely recommend it for dog lovers who don’t like to put their pet in a kennel. It’s only a 4hr drive from bangkok and you don’t have to bother with ferries

One of the best pet-friendly accommodation in Thailand and perfect for all pet-lovers
I can confidently say that this place is surely one of the best pet-friendly accommodation in Thailand. The hotel has a private beach and it's located just a 5-hour driving distance from Bangkok (if you don't stop often on the way to the hotel). For anyone who lives in Thailand and also a pet lover, the same as me, this place is highly recommended.

The balcony looks like abandoned and brokenly out of use. The Jacuzzi bath tub looks not safe. Lots of ants and dry leaf all over the balcony floor. Balcony railings are broken and abandoned. In summary everything in balcony area are just like in haunting house. (room no. 101)
