Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin first opened its doors to welcome guests in the early 1920s, at a time when the new railway line to Malaysia was transforming the sleepy fishing village of Hua Hin into Thailand’s first beach resort. Our hotel, originally named the Railway Hotel, was built along the classic lines of that era, and today is regarded as one of the grand hotels of the East.
Sensitively extended and renovated, Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin retains its air of that bygone age of elegance. Set on the beachfront, with a wide expanse of gardens perfect for strolling and enjoying the sea breezes, and with a prime town centre location ideal for exploring and shopping, the resort is a prime destination for couples and families.

“ Location, room, pools Good ”
“ Highly impressed with service quality, beautiful architecture, the pool, sea beach, location. Negative: Nothing as Such ”
“ This place oozes peace and tranquility from the moment you arrive. The staff are wonderful and very helpful but not intrusive. Hotel is spotless and the pools are well maintained and of a good size.. The breakfasts are spot on with loads of choice. The location of the hotel is perfect, its directly on the beach and is within 10 minutes walk of the harbour restaurants , the night market an many other eateries and shops. We stayed in the hotel, not the villas and the rooms were of a very good size and well equipped. I cannot Fault this place at all , it gets a 10 out of 10 from my husband and myself, and we will return. ”
“ One of the most beautiful hotels in Hua Hin. Immaculate grounds with several pools right on the beach. Attendants bring cold towels and watermelon as you are lounging by the pool. Our room had the bedroom upstairs and huge windows opening on to the large balcony. Beautifully furnished. Two beautiful washrooms. We arrived before 2 and our rooms were not ready but we were able to use the fitness centre to have a shower and store our bags as we waited by the pool for our rooms. Between the hotel and the Hilton next door is a small market travel up this street to the traffic lights , turn left and walk about 200 m and you arrive at the night market. We ate lunch at the poolside restaurant. Very elegant. Our rooms were less than$200 a night on Agoda but this did not include breakfast. An excellent splurge. ”
