Centara Hotels & Resorts, recently concluded the three-month "Help the Heroes" campaign which having raised over THB 2.3 million to support healthcare workers and communities in need.
Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO, Centara Hotels & Resorts personally presented the donations to two charities that have been instrumental in their COVID-19 relief efforts across Thailand, represented by Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of Chaipattana Foundation and Khan Prachuabmoh, Director of Fund Raising Bureau of The Thai Red Cross Foundation.
A total of THB 928,000 was raised for the Chaipattana Covid-19 Aid Fund (and Other Pandemics), launched by Chaipattana Foundation under the permission of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. An additional THB 1,451,500 was raised for The Thai Red Cross Foundation to provide supplies and support to hospitals and people affected by the pandemic.
The "Help the Heroes" initiative saw Centara cash vouchers increased in value by 50%, with half of that going back to the buyer, and another half donated towards the charity designated by the customer.

During the campaign, people had the chance to buy Centara cash vouchers which can be redeemed for hotel stays or spending in the hotel whilst staying at any Centara Hotels & Resorts properties in Thailand and overseas until 31st October 2021.
In its ongoing efforts supporting healthcare heroes, Centara is also providing complimentary hotel accommodation until 30th December 2020 for doctors and nurses to enjoy a one-night stay for two guests at any Centara Hotels & Resorts property in Thailand.
