Time to Start Planning an Event
Depending on the event, most will start planning at least 3-12 months in advance. For large-scale events that involved hundreds of individuals that span over multiple days, those can take 18+ months to plan. Please get in touch with our coordinators as soon as you plan to hold an event or meeting with us.
About the Location
Centara Grand Beach Resort is one of the prime conference and meeting venues on the island, located right on the sands of Karon Beach. The resort is the perfect venue to host memorable cocktail receptions and dinner parties. The water park and pools, the recreational and team-building activities make the resort a perfect choice for distinctive meetings and for incentive groups.
Indoor Event Space
We offer various rooms to suit your needs for meetings; Phuket Grand Ballroom spans over 576 square metres, has a maximum capacity of 780 persons, and is divisible into two intermediate meeting venues of equal size. Columbus, Santiago and Madalena offer meeting space between 30 and 40 square metres while the two spacious boardrooms are suitable for up to 15 persons seated in a U-shape configuration.
Outdoor Event Space
We offer various outdoor venues for your special event. On the white sandy Beach where you could enjoy the sunset closely can accommodate up to 500 attendees (depends on the weather) while Beachcomber is suitable for the small group up to 35 persons and it is the decking bar at beachfront. The Lawn with wide-catwalk style is able to accommodate up to 100 attendees, and our Luna Bar at its outside area could be accommodate up to 80 persons.

breakout rooms located on the first floor, Columbus, Santiago and Madalena, offer meeting space between 30 and 40 square metres. Another two spacious breakout rooms located on the second floor, Marco Polo and Vera Cruz, are suitable for up to 15 persons seated in a U- shape configuration.
