A Day Out at Art in Paradise Pattaya

By COSI Hotels ลงเมื่อ 08 Nov 20

Cloudy skies? Bored of the beach? Kids need something different to do? When you’re ready for an inside day while in Pattaya, Art in Paradise is the place to go.

Though filled with painted masterpieces, this fun museum doesn’t offer your typical galleries. Instead of framed art on the walls, each gallery comes to life – especially from behind a camera lens – with mind-bending, interactive murals that place you right in the heart of the picture and all of its crazy action.

This art gallery is filled with eye-catching three-dimensional illusions thanks to clever forced perspective painting techniques that make it look like the paintings come to life. Here you can marvel at more than 100 pieces filling ten themed galleries: Camouflage Room, Under the Ocean Room, Wildlife Room, Classical Art Room, Civilisation Room, Surrealism Room, Dinosaur Room, Waterfall Room, Scenery Room, and Exhibition of Art Room.

Ever had to escape across steep cliffs to get away from a fire-breathing dragon? Or traversed pharoahs tombs in Egypt? Get ready – that’s what you’ll be doing here! Everywhere you turn, your eyes will play tricks on you. When you get your camera placement just right, you are able to take in such sights as lightning striking Thor’s hammer in front of an angry sky, time travel back to the age of dinosaurs or ride a gondola through romantic Venetian canals. When standing in the perfect spot, you can even look like you’re taking part in Thailand’s famous Loy Krathong festival, releasing a glowing lantern into the sky on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.

Along with plenty of amusing optical illusions, the hand-painted murals also showcase vibrant animal and nature scenes, bring ancient civilisations to life and recreate classic works of art. Fun for the whole family, wandering through Art in Paradise (which is the first trick-eye 3-D museum in Thailand with other locations in Bangkok and Chiang Mai) can take as little or as much time as your sightseeing schedule allows. Typically, most visitors spend about two hours to see it all while taking photo breaks to snap the winning shot of you and your loved ones in these unbelievable scenes.
