Khum Phaya Resort & Spa, Centara Boutique Collection

Our Story

A Unique & Tranquil Sanctuary

Chiang Mai was the centre of the Lanna kingdom, and with interiors fitted out in natural fabrics & teak, roofs made from 80-year-old teak beams, and intricate carvings, the design of this tranquil resort reflects the kingdom’s heritage. Our 85 exquisitely designed rooms & villas provide the option of direct pool access or private plunge pool, and all come complete with Jacuzzi. Outside of your private world, sink into the lagoon-shaped pool surrounded by century-old trees and meandering canals, enjoy authentic cuisine and be pampered at Spa Cenvaree. Your relaxing or cultural holiday begins almost the minute you arrive in Chiang Mai as the resort is only 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the old town.

A good hotel to stay in Chiengmai
Good place Excellent staff and services Good food with reasonable price Green and privacy We were impressed at once by the front office lovely smiling staff. There served us pleasantly with their lovely smiling faces all the time. They explained nicely about the facilities in the hotel clearly. The room is very good with top facilities. The taste of foods in the restaurant were very good and the prices are reasonable. There are lots of aromatic trees ,in fact it is green all over the area in the hotel. We could sense aroma from the trees walking in the hotel garden. It is so nice to walk around. The place is privacy and no disturbing noise. This hotel is a very good place to stay with the feeling of relaxing.

Little Lana village 15 mins from Old Chiangmai city
Khum Phaya Resort & Spa is a lovely Lana village at the outskirt of Old Chiangmai city. If you book the ground floor pool facing rooms, you can jump straight into the pool from your balcony! I highly recommend a treatment or massage at the relaxing spa. Their therapist are professional and well trained and we went back again after our first visit! The location is only 15-20 mins from most Chiangmai city attractions and eateries. The resort is suitable for both couples and family

we got the swim-in room and it was worth it.There is a giant shopping mall with food court in 10 min. walking distance and many cafes and restaurants, to our surprise! The atmosphere with the swimming pool was the best and I can see myself going back.

    Beautiful architecture and gardens
Great pool, great staff but do your laundry before you get there, it’s a bit pricey. The showers/spa bath could of been warmer considering we were there in the winter. It is kept absolutely beautifully however and is architecturally lovely with some stunning gardens. Look out for Mr Aut, he made our stay fabulous.

    Very Pleasant Stay
We had great time staying at the charming Khum Phaya. The staff were very attentive to our needs. The place is very peaceful, just what we needed from the crazy Bangkok traffic and noise. Its location is a bit out from the City Center but we had no issue ordering rides from Grab mobile app; plus the daily dance show and buffet dinner at Khum Khantoke next door is a must-do for any visitor. BigC SuperCenter is within walking distance in which you can shop for gifts and Thai snacks to bring back. It has very nice foodcourt too.

    Amazing Hotel
My partner and I had the most wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The facilities were great (huge swimming pool, spa, gym, meeting areas, poolside bar, restaurant, and cafe), the food was delicious, the rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean, but most of all the staff were so incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great resort, friendly and welcoming staff. We really enjoyed our stay.
Would recommend asking for a room away from the road if you are a light sleeper as it can get noisy in the morning. Breakfast spread is quite diverse. Staff very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

    A VERY GOOD RESORT
The moment my taxi arrived, I was greeted by a warm welcome by some staffs and handled my luggage. Receptionists were very pleasant and spoke good English. Housekeeping were very good, and most of all, easy accessing the pool right through the balcony door.

    oasis from traffic
This hotel is high end accommodation. The staff can’t do enough to assist and the facilities make the stay an oasis. Easy to book tours from the concierge, the breakfast buffet caters for everyone. I highly recommend you book this hotel for your stay in Bangkok.

    Relaxing Resort Stay
What I say... we loved this resort and its staff. My sister and I were in Thailand during wet season which meant that the hotel was relatively quiet and we even had the pool to ourselves for a couple of hours. Even though it was quieter the grounds were kept immaculate by the gardeners. The spa treatments weren't overly cheap but definitely worth the money. The only downfall is that the location is a little further out which is unfortunate however they do provide a shuttle bus at regular times during the day which takes you to the night market and you can take a taxi or tuk tuk anywhere from there. We went to the traditional Thai show next door, which we booked through the hotel, and I can highly recommend it, we definitely had enough food to feed an army and the show was lovely to see; oh and what better than taking a short stroll back to your room afterwards or down the street to some of the bars to continue on the night. Overall we loved staying here however be mindful to add a little bit of extra money into the kitty for the travel around the city.
