  Holiday of a lifetime

  Had a fantastic 10 days here. We stayed in a villa-on-stilts and to be able to open the curtains, walk out onto your private decking, down the stairs and into the water to be snorkeling over the reef was priceless. The weather in March was perfect, but be warned it is hot - rarely dipping below 32C - take at least Factor 30 if not Factor 50. The food at the Oceans restaurant was excellent, made better by the staff who were happy to see you and made you feel welcomed and valued as their guests. Stroll along to the Viu Bar for sunset drinks. Accommodation was of a high standard, kept spotless by the housekeeping staff. On our last full day we joined the Nurse Shark Quest, a boat trip out to a spot known for exotic fish, Stingrays and, of course, these sharks. In 10m of water we as a group were snorkeling over these magnificent and (mostly) harmless creatures for the best part of an hour - unforgettable and highly recommended.

  Very impressive service from hotel staffs, Everyone so nice, the food is absolutely perfect.   Beautiful On the Ocean Resort

  Just a great quiet get-a-way for couples to enjoy the beauty of the Island. Stay of two nights was about right. The staff was very nice and went well above for my wife's birthday. They brought Birthday Cake and Champagne to the room. At dusk they decorated the bed with Happy Birthday to make it even more special. Very well done and my true gratitude.

  Red Carpet visiting Centara at Maldives

  Must visit Centara at Maldives and you will never the happiness moment spending there. Nothing to say but "Can't miss the moment at Centara Maldives", Cheers! Landing at the airport and picked up by well trained staff is so convenient. Arriving at the Hotel is welcomed by full management team makes you feel VIP right away. Reception spent times to make sure we obtained all requested and layout of all facities. Specdial thank to Khun Sam and Khun Ammie who mak this trip so special to me my wife. We will definitely return to this place again in the near future.

  Cant praise this resort enough, great accomodation, great food and staff that take a genuine interest in your welfare. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definately be staying at other Centara Resorts going forward. Bravo!

  Wonderful place

  We chose the beach villa. Everything was perfect and staff Always good. Most of the times we eat at Ocean buffet because we like to try different foods, and everytime it was really good. The live singers was really appreciated.

  Rejuvenating experience

  convenient stay near Male

  Great option near Male with house reef and great service. Stayed in de lux room and was lucky to see bioluminescent plankton in the bay next to our room. The resort is close to Male ca 15 minutes by speedboat

  The most perfect stay...

  This really was everything we were hoping for and more. Our first proper holiday just the two of us without children and we couldnt have asked for anymore, the food was wonderful, the staff were all smiling and only to happy to help in anyway, the place is absolutely immaculate and beautiful from the moment you step on to the island to the moment they wave you on your way. Sunset villas highly recommended for the evening views alone!

  Wonderful stay!

  Staff were very helpful and friendly, service was never an issue. Hotel itself was clean and the view from our room was stunning. Food options were also great, always spoilt for choice and not a complaint about any meal. We had a couples massage and they listened to our every need during this. The hotel is a very quick boat ride from Male which was a bonus. Will definitely be retuning!

  Good hotel for couples but can improve their food

  Great staff service in rooms and at reception, very welcoming. The resort is close to male airport (just 20 min by boat). But the transfer fee is expensive (150 dollars round trip/person). The downside in the hotel was the food. There are 4 restaurants, the main one is a buffet style with the same breakfast and lunch daily and a different dinner theme each day. The other 3 restaurants (Italian/Thai/arabic) are Al a carte but you can get a set menu in the Italian and Thai restaurants if your meal plan is all inclusive (which fails the idea of all inclusive). The main restaurant’s food had no variety it is mostly Indian vegetarian food. Bad salad options and bad pastry. Although the sweets were good. The beach is amazing and gives the Maldives vibe, great snorkelling around the island. The reef is mostly dead but there is a lot of variety of colourful fish which we really enjoyed. The non-motorised watersport was free of charge including the snorkelling gear which was great. Overall the hotel was really clean with great service. No mosquitoes.
