Time to Start Planning an Event
Depending on the event, most will need planning at least 3-12 months in advance. For large-scale events that involve hundreds of individuals, those can take 12+ months to plan. Please get in touch with our coordinators as soon as you plan to hold an event or meeting with us.
About the Location
Centara Hotel & Convention Centre Udon Thani is the city’s pre-eminent hotel and meetings venue, and is adjacent to Central Plaza, Udon Thani’s largest shopping and lifestyle centre. With its location and facilities, the hotel provides the perfect base for guests who are travelling for leisure, and for those who have business within the region. Udon Thani’s airport is a 20-minute drive away, the city’s train station is 800 metres from the hotel, and the central bus station is within easy walking distance.

The Convention Centre together with our experienced events team make the Centara Hotel & Convention Centre Udon Thani the first choice amongst planners for meetings, conferences, conventions, presentations, product launches, incentives groups, weddings, and private celebrations of all kinds.
We offer high speed internet, TVs, video projectors, overhead and slide projectors, white boards, flip charts, and LCD projectors to ensure a successful meeting venture.
Indoor Event Space
With a capacity of 3,000 guests for a reception and 5,000 for a concert, the Udon Thani Convention Centre is the largest multipurpose banquet and conference facility in the region. A ceiling height of makes this a very versatile space, and indoor sports can be staged here.
Tung Sri Muang Grand Ballroom will hold 700 guests seated in theatre style, or 300 for cocktails, and is divisible into two equal sections. Two smaller banquet rooms, Na Yung and Ban Phue, hold respectively 200 and 100 guests. Further five small meeting rooms will each hold up to 80 guests.
Outdoor Event Space
We offer various outdoor venues for your special event:
- Hotel Front Lawn on the ground floor has an area of 465 sqm and can hold up to 300 attendees
- Beer Garden on the ground floor has an area of 175 sqm and can hold up to 150 attendees
- The pool on the 5th floor has an area of 170 sqm and can hold up to 100 attendees
