About Guest Bartender Masashi "Marcy" Sakuma:
After a decade of success in UK bars, Sakuma returned to Japan to join Kyoto Distillery as a distillation craftsman, and in 2020, he became the manager of the Ki No Bi House. Since 2022, he has leveraged his extensive experience to promote Ki No Bi worldwide as a Global Ambassador.

 

 

About Kyoto Distillery:
Impressed by the historic craftsmanship of Kyoto, Kyoto Distillery was established as a craft gin distillery in the city. It uses a variety of locally grown ingredients, including Fushimi's renowned water, yuzu, sansho pepper, and Uji green tea, continuing centuries of tradition in producing the finest sake. In 2015, it acquired Kyoto's first license for spirit production and launched its flagship product, "Ki No Bi Kyoto Dry Gin," in 2016. The distillery won the highest trophy, "International Gin Producer," at the IWSC in the UK in 2018 and 2021.
