Centara Grand Hotel Osaka will host a cake decorating lesson & afternoon tea event for family with children on Children's Day, May 5th. Our pastry chef from Malaysia will guide the children to teach the fun of cake decorating in both English and Japanese. After the cake is complete, please enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea time with your family. Our afternoon tea specialist, who has gained experience in numerous luxury hotels, will introduce you to the enjoyment of afternoon tea.

Date & Time: May 5, 2024 (Sunday/Holiday) Doors open at 12:30, the event starts at 13:00 (expected to end at 15:00)
Venue: 3F Orchid Ballroom
Prices: ¥6,800 per person

About Pastry Chef Zita Lu
Zita Lu, a pastry chef who handles popular hotel offerings such as afternoon tea and sweets buffets, has honed her skills through apprenticeships in several famous restaurants, including those of Joël Robuchon and Alain Ducasse. Specialising in French pastries and chocolate, Zita invites you to enjoy cake decorating with her friendly smile.

About Afternoon Tea Specialist Miki Itazu
Having previously worked at Four Seasons Kyoto and Fauchon Hotel Kyoto, she has served many guests who visit the hotel to enjoy afternoon tea. With firsthand experience in afternoon tea trends and enjoyment, Itazu will introduce the background of afternoon tea and how to choose teas in an easily understandable way for children.
