  日常から逃避できるホテル

  ホテルのロケーションがアオナンビーチの脇にあるにもかかわらずMonkey Trailでしか行き来できないうえに、メインのホテルへのアクセスが専用ボートのみということもあり、喧騒から隔離された場所で静かにくつろぐには最高のホテルです。ビーチも込み合うことなく兎に角ゆっくりできます。今回の滞在が2泊のみだったので、途中で延泊したくなりましたがすでに予定を組んでいたので断念したくらいです。次回クラビを訪問の際はまたこのホテルに滞在したいと思います。1点だけ難点を上げるとすれば、ホテルの格からするとトイレのグレードがあまり良くなかったことくらいでしょうか。それでもまた訪問したいと思えるロケーションは最高です。

  心配ありません。私はこのホテルをお勧めします。子供連れの方にも。

  旅行前にいくつかのネガティブなレビューを読んで心配していましたが、それは間違いかも。ホテルのスタッフはみんな笑顔で、イレギュラーなお願いにも親切に対応してくれました。バンコクの一流ホテルに比べると、掃除が徹底されていなかったり、スタッフの対応も少し時間がかかってしまうことはありますが、気持ちを悪くするほどではありません。近郊ビーチからホテルへのボートアクセスも不便に感じません。そればかりでなく、ホテル内の4つのレストラン（タイ料理、BBQビュッフェ、インターナショナル、日本料理）や宿泊者専用のオプショナルツアーデスクは、子連れ（5歳児）にとっても快適な滞在を提供してくれました。 ホテル滞在は3泊4日で中2日はオプショナルツアーに参加しました。ホテル内のツアーデスクで近隣4諸島と、ピピ諸島のアイランドホッピングツアーを予約。2日ともとても素晴らしいツアーでした。どちらかひとつ？と聴かれれば、近隣4諸島よりもピピ諸島のアイランドホッピングをお勧めします。海水の透明度やキレイな魚との遭遇率が違います。それに、ピピ諸島へのアイランドホッピングツアーはホテル主催で宿泊客のみ参加可能で、品のいいシンガポール人老夫婦の他は白人夫婦やカップルで日本人は我々家族のみでした。（余談ですが、ツアーパーティーがどのようなグループか？というのは重要で、大陸からのツアー客が停泊中のボート甲板で団子になってタバコを吸っているのを見かけゾッとしました）我々のツアーガイドの方は、到着予定のスノーケリングポイントが混雑していれば別のポイントを見つけて停泊するといった臨機応変で親切な白人女性。彼女はレストランマネジメントも兼任しているようで、夕食時には一転、制服姿で明るく挨拶してくれました。 このようなアイランドホッピングの体験もあり、ホテル前のビーチは海水浴としてはそれほどお勧めできませんが、夕日がとってもキレイです。集中力のない我が子でも日没に見惚れ、この時に地球の自転を理解しました。 最後に、私が感じたこのホテルの良さの一つは、関係する人です。もちろんスタッフは親切です。そして宿泊客はとてもマナーがいいです。子供にも笑顔で挨拶し、ドアを引いてくれます。夕食時には、それぞれに美しく装い、バカ騒ぎはしません。 そのことだけでも滞在する価値があるホテルだと思いました。

  Great hotel but isolated

  Beautiful location and views. Upscale property reflected in restaurants prices but still not expensive by english terms. Only issue for some could be the monkey trail at night which is a hard slog to get to ao nang and back.

  Fantastic Family Stay - We will be going back

  We just got home from our trip to Krabi and we are happy to say that our experience staying at the Centara Grand was a great one. We received great service, convenient transfers and the location and property is really beautiful. The only thing I would have liked to see was a greater selection of food on the menu at the beach restaurant and in-room dining facility. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return.

  Worth experience in Aonang

  Remote site hotel with a paradise beach un front of it. The hotel was full of plants and tropical forest which was amazing. Nice sorroundings. The restaurant terrace and the pool had great views too and were so confortable. The workers were so polite and helpful.

  A must visit place,,,,, excellent property,,,,,well maintained friendly staff courteous and polite..Thai food was excellent but Indian food was ok with less quantity.., buffet breakfast was very good but vegetarian options were limited

  Nice Hotel

  Big issue is with arrival and departure through boat. No one to help as path is very bumpy during tides. Hotel has to remake its path. We say an guest had 2 big fractures in leg due to it. Very big issue with this property

  heavenly stay

  The hotel is wonderful, like a small village in the vegetation. The free shuttle boat was a nice ride. The room is spacious and sumptuous, both modern and traditional, the bathroom was very large, as well as the terrace. In the trees in front of our terrace there were very cute monkeys (Semnopithecus obscure). Amazing breakfast ! Huge choice in sweet and savory, everything was delicious. Very nice welcome. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful with views of the mountains. We took a wood staircase that goes around the mountain ("monkey trail") to access the nearby beach (lively beach, restaurant, fire shows...) without having to take the boat. It was a heavenly stay.

  Beautiful Location

  The setting is absolutely stunning and it is exciting to arrive by speedboat. The experience exiting and boarding the speedboat is exciting and a little scary as they have a floating dock which rocks a lot when there are waves. The hotel rooms and facilities are nice but a little dated and in need of modernization

  Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas

  A fabulous place to stay. Staff were excellent and the food was amazing. The only connection to the mainland is climbing monkey trail. This trail is a strong climb and not suitable for unfit people. Otherwise only access is by boat.

  Great view but there is no access to the road so the only way in and out is to book a hotel shuttle boat which often time is fully booked. Otherwise, you have to get to the city by the Monkey Trail which is very exhausting. The service is nice but very slow and not responsive. We stayed in a pool villa. The space is really nice but the overall condition of the room is quite aged and not really well maintained.
