Christopher John Patzold, Executive Chef
At Centara Reserve Samui, Executive Chef Christopher John Patzold oversees the luxury resort’s out-of-the-ordinary dining experiences, including fresh seafood at Salt Society beach bar and kitchen, contemporary Thai tapas at Sa-Nga, modern high-end cuisine at Act 5, The Terrace, comfort food and customised selection of house-made items. Chris joins Centara Reserve Samui from Amanyara in the Caribbean, and before that, he was with Four Seasons Resort.
During an illustrious career spanning over 30 years, Chris has also worked in top restaurants in his native Australia, as well as in the USA, UK, Switzerland, and Bermuda, including spells at Joe Allan restaurants in New York and London.
In his free time, Chris seeks out new adventures and pursues his interest for big bikes, including taking part in a motocross – dirt bike racing.
