Chef Sompong, a native of Thailand and Chef de Cuisine at Suan Bua, studied culinary arts at a university in Bangkok, then honed his skills by working at Baan Khanitha, a restaurant favoured by Thai royalty. He has studied not only in Thailand, but also in Mexico, Macau, Japan, and Vietnam, and has devoted over 20 years to providing authentic Thai cuisine in various countries. He continues to invent exquisite Thai cuisine that is loved by both the Thai people and the people of the region.

At Chim Chim Suan Bua, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat Thai cuisine of about 30 varieties prepared by Chef Somphong. A wide variety of authentic local delicacies such as green curry and tom yum kung, which are representative of Thai cuisine, are available. Thai sweets carefully prepared by patissiers are also available.
