Good Experience
The room is comfortable and clean and relatively spacious. The only negative is the air conditioner: it's quite noisy (even at the lowest setting) and I wonder if it's broken or intended. Duty Manager Sitthiporn Suewatanakul, is very helpful in ensuring my room is ready even though I only arrived at 2.00am due to flight delayed. Good Hotel
Good cleanliness and spacious room. Staff were also nice and courteous. Loved the lounge because they served a variety and freshly cooked food and hot drinks which were served right to our table. One thing that could be improved was the lift waiting time. I stayed at a high level room and it took me a very long time to reach to the ground floor, long waiting times and crowded lifts. I would have preferred to stay in a lower floor. I think the connectivity to Centralworld could have been better, we needed to go from 23 floor to 7 floor carpark to the supermart and all the way down to the first floor. It was either that or we had to go to the ground floor and walk through the carpark entrance. My best experience on my birthday 🎂
Mind from the reception desk was friendly and observant. She has also upgraded my room for my birthday. Housekeeping boy on 47th floor was very attentive to details and did a great job tidying up the room. Concierge team was friendly and helpful too. A memorable birthday experience
I was recently upgraded as a Diamond member under the Mastercard programme. As a Diamond member, you can get access to the club lounge even if you did not book a club room. But I would gladly pay for the club room even if I am NOT a Diamond member. Here’s why: 1. Breakfast hours till 11am (buffet selections + dim sum + noodle soup + cocktail bites, salad, dessert options. Starbucks coffee + fresh juices) 2. At every hour (even outside their official meal times, these are available: cocktail bites, salad, pastries, dessert + Starbucks coffee + juice) 3. Hi tea session (didn’t make it for this) 4. Cocktail hour till 7pm (besides the all day food options, they had a cocktail spread + option of a cocktail or cocktail and of course a Starbucks drink) 5. Beautiful room (I suspect they gave me a room upgrade. Welcome fruits and birthday cake and champagne- could be due to my status) 6. Free welcome drinks at any of their bar (except the upper roof ones)- might also be available for club room guests. 7. I got an extra perk. A Top of the World invite card to their top level bar for 2 welcome drinks. Apparently they had several bars and this one was one of the best. (Each drink is around sgd 30). 8. Close proximity to Central World, Big C, Platinium, Pratunam, etc 9. Top notch service from all staff. They were all so polite and accommodating. It was a birthday celebration and stay and despite only staying for 1 night. They made my day so special I really felt like a VIP that day. Good hotel
I am happy with my stay at this hotel. I really enjoyed the pleasant fragrance when walking around, and everything looked very clean. The location is great too. Great location and comfortable room
The Centara Grand at Central World is in a great location for the Siam area. It was within walking distance to all our favourite retail and food spots. The room was comfortable for two of us and the staff are super friendly and really make you feel welcome and valued. We paid extra for the breakfast as an add on to our room rate and found it to be better than expected. The international selection was excellent. It's worth the extra cost as you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast in house before you hit the busy streets of Bangkok. I highly recommend this hotel.
