BASIC FUNCTION:

The Senior Web Developer is responsible for the administration and performance optimisation of the company Content Management Systems as well as Online payment gateways. The role includes maintenance of Cloud based applications, development initiatives as well as and 3 rd party integrations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain brand.com and all micro sites to ensure technical performance, solve marketing issues, and meet marketing requirements.
• Administrate the user permissions of the company Content Management Systems, in particular Drupal CMS.
• Monitor and Ensure optimal speed of front end applications via the use of CDNs.
• Develop and deploy new components, API end points, website templates and other required integrations to website CMS and ecommerce sites.
• Support the Digital Marketing, Brand and Loyalty initiatives set by division head.
• Configure and maintain legacy systems (web and database servers) on AWS Amazon Platform.
• Manage Domain names renewal and consolidate all domains under a single registrar account.
• Act as Project Manager for all technical projects relating to eCommerce websites, platforms and systems.
• Ensure that Websites, Booking Engine, Payment gateways, Loyalty and CRM platforms are seamlessly integrated.
• Monitor environments and react to any alert’s, incidents and outages with hosting providers, websites, platforms, internet connectivity, network and ensure uptime, scalability, stability, redundancy, reliability and security.
• Manage multiple projects and maintain schedules and budgets.
• Provide methods & guidelines to the in-house developers to ensure a sustainable development of all web applications.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and top management.
• Recommend technology solutions for future growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

CRITERIA:

• Strategic and results-driven expert with 5+ years’ experience in software and web application development role with proven track record.
• Deep understanding of Drupal 8+ and related development tools such as Lightning, BLT, Drush & Pattern Lab is required. Experience with Acquia ACSF would be a plus.
• Advanced programming skills in Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP) as well as ASP, JavaScript (NodeJS, AJAX, JQuery) HTML, Front end UI/UX experience & CSS.
• Familiar with Modern development techniques and the use of GitHub.
• Excellent communication skills in Thai and English (both speaking and writing).
• Knowledge of E-Commerce Content Management Platforms and previous hospitality experience would be an advantage.
• Analytical thinker with track record in mining complex data to drive business insight.
• Strong relationship and management skills, together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong software development project leadership.
